We need your help to feed 800 hungry-hungry hackers. For the first time in a while, we are holding a pre-cookout fundraiser. Get a shirt with The Toxic Zone logo featuring Rod Serloin himself, and help us cover venue, food, and equipment costs.

Purchasing a shirt through this fundraiser will help us cover the costs of the barbecue and cover your body from the harsh desert sun. Both of these things will ensure that everyone has a great time. The fundraiser runs for one month to make sure it ships in time for the con. Pickup is also available.

A shirt isn’t the only way to support Toxic BBQ. Here are some ways you can get involved:

  1. Donate food or funds: Every little bit helps! You can purchase food during the Supply Run or donate at the event.

  2. Volunteer: teams of volunteers help with setup, cleanup, and staffing the grill to ensure the event runs smoothly. If you’re interested in assisting with Toxic BBQ, reach out to us on The Socials or at the event itself.

  3. Spread the word: Share this fundraiser across your socials and tell your fellow hacker-friends all about Toxic BBQ.

Washed Away - Toxic BBQ at DEF CON 30

For the first time in a long while, Toxic BBQ was interrupted by rain.  Thankfully, the skies waited to fall until 9PM, but that made our egress even more difficult than normal. With the help of many soaked hackers, we got the pavilion clean and clear, and everyone back to their hotels. In a first, we did a pretty good job of collecting volunteer information!
